Clementine, a not-so-common third grader, knows her way around the principal's office as well as she does the art-supply closet. Daily rituals take on a different view when seen from her eyes. She's constantly being told that she needs to pay attention, but to her mind she is paying attention and making astute observations. Whether looking out the window during the Pledge of Allegiance at the janitor locked in an embrace with the lunch lady or dealing with a pesky pigeon problem at her apartment building, her concentration is always focused. Clementine goes to great lengths to be friends with fourth-grade neighbor, Margaret, but more times than not, both girls end up in trouble.

When I was a little kid it was so fun to read this book and i loved the book so much and now that I am older the book is kinda boring to me but I still kinda like it and her hair is weird.

Clementine is so funny espically when Clementine cut her friend's hair and colored it with premint marker. LOL. Then I also like the part when Clementine was telling princeaple Rice that she was helping her look for ceil snakes. I think it's sad that her little kitten died. I think it's pretty funny that Clementine calls her brother spinch. There is another part I think is funny. It's when Clementine is scacred of her freiend's dog,Mascara.

I liked this book because when you read some parts you think,"Wow that's really crazy. Who would ever do that?" I thought the book was creative and Clementine was unique and fun. I would reccomend this book to other students.
